When Pigs Fly, Vegans Drink.

Our 78th show comes in the midst of a Swine Flu outbreak in which the disease has jumped species and is now being transmitted from human to human. The World Health Organization has called it a Phase 5 Outbreak, indicating a pandemic is imminent. We report some of the current news and views and add our own two cents. Our featured interview is with Ed Coffin, vegan "activist extraordinaire" who is building a vegan empire in Philadelphia. Ed tells us about the uber successful Vegan Drinks Philly which brings hundreds of Philadelphia vegans together for socializing and networking every month, fertile material for Scott and Derek to try out their best drunk vegan groaners. Ed also talks about his vegan food blog Eating Consciously and his upcoming e-book. We even get into the virtues of vegan scrapple, not to be missed!
