Sexy New Vegans

On our 76th show Scott is absent and Jilian and Derek have in-studio guest Chrissy Costigan, who lives near us in Westfield Massachusetts and was a runner up in Peta's Sexiest Vegetarian Next Door 2009 contest. Chrissy entered the contest and became a vegan because of what she learned while competing. We discuss wether Peta's sensationalist, sexual, and sometimes sexist tactics are justifiable. We also talk about the challenges of being a new vegan in a non-vegan world. Later in the show Derek debuts his new vegan inspired song Funky Animal. In the news Boca, Obama, overfishing, USDA ban on downer cattle and CloFu.
